Northwest Regional Managing Director for The Local Radio Company, Mark Matthews, has quit his position to join GMG Radio as Group Head of Presentation. Mark was previously Station Manager, then Managing Director of 99.8FM 2BR until the station was bought by TLRC in 2004.
He will work along side his former TFM colleague John Simons, who is Group Programme Director for GMG Radio. John told RadioToday.co.uk: "Mark has a great radio pedigree as a presenter, programmer and a general manager. He has a great understanding of what the listener wants and will be a fabulous addition to the team."
