Ex-Hollyoaks actors Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries are to host a show on Lancashire’s 97.4 Rock FM, after broadcasting on sister station Radio City 96.7 throughout December.
The pair played best friends Max and OB in the soap for over ten years and will now host the Saturday 10am-2pm show on Rock FM, having presented Radio City’s Entertainment City on Sundays from 1pm – 4pm.
The new show will be called Rock FM’s Sat Nav with Matt & Darren – and described as ‘the show to give you your guidance every Saturday.’ The show aims to be focused around the listener and what they are doing, or could be doing, out and about across Lancashire.
Dean O’Brien, Rock FM’s acting programme director said: “We’re really excited about Matt and Darren’s arrival – they will be a fantastic addition to our line up. They’ve sounded great on Radio City and we are really confident that the Lancashire listeners will love them.”
Matt and Darren said: “We can’t wait for out first show and we’ve been working hard over the past few weeks to ensure that it’s everything the listener wants.”
