Broadcaster and journalist Jonathan Maitland is to cover for Donal MacIntyre's BBC Radio 5 Live show whilst Donal Dances On Ice.
Looking ahead to his time on the programme, Jonathan Maitland said: “I listen to BBC radio all the time so I'm thrilled to be working for them again following Donal's hugely sensible, logical and very brave decision, as one of the UK's leading undercover investigators, to wear lycra and sequins and appear in Dancing on Ice”.
Jonathan Maitland previously worked for the BBC between 1985 and 1999, including six years as a reporter on the Today programme.
