Global Radio and Bauer still dominate the top spots as far as London commercial radio goes, with Bauer’s Magic owning the title of most listened to station in the Capital.
Heart and Capital remain in second and third commercial place respectively.
BBC Radio 4 is still the most listened to station overall in London with 2.7 million listeners, and Radio 2 remains in second place with 2.1 million.
Global however claim victory over the commercial breakfast slots, with Capital FM’s Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon at number one (879,000), and Heart 106.2 Breakfast duo Jamie and Harriet at number two (868,000). Neil Fox on Magic 105.4 comes in third place with 813,000 listeners. All three saw an increase on last quarter’s results.
Magic has now spent two years as number one commercially in London, now with a six per cent share. Stable-mate Kiss 100 is commercially number four, owning the 15-34 age group in London. Breakfast presenters Rickie and Melvin take breakfast to highest reach in six years.
