Despite losing her show on Channel Five, talk show host Trisha Goddard has confirmed that she will continue working in radio, broadcasting her Sunday evening show across Merseyside on Liverpool’s City Talk 105.9 station.
Five did not renew the broadcaster’s contract for her daily TV show due to financial constraints. Though for those missing the presenter they can still hear her weekly show between 8 and 10pm, a show she’s hosted on City Talk 105.9 since the station launched last January.
In a statement, Trisha said: “People up and down the country are losing their jobs and their homes in the current recession, here on Merseyside we have the automotive trade and retail trade suffering heavily, so I don't feel sorry for myself. I will continue as normal with my City Talk radio show, which I enjoy very much and I will dust myself down and find new challenges to pursue.”
