ENCO extends education arm

ENCO have reaffirmed its commitment to training and education in the radio sector as the recession wears on. Offering new skills to staff and stations as numbers are cut back and employees are expected to perform ever more tasks.

Sales Director Becky Lodge said: “As groups and stations are relying on fewer key staff to keep their stations profitable, they are re-investing in training, in order to ensure that their teams are multi-skilled and able to share skills across the station/group.”
As part of ENCO’s continued roll-out within education, they are partnering with the media play van (aka The Media Machine) built by ENCO for Bournemouth YMCA last year and visiting schools. The van has TV/Animation and full radio broadcast capability and kids of all ages are able to learn interactively in the mobile hands-on environment.
