Regular listeners to Gordon Astley on BBC Southern Counties have been contacting a local newspaper to find out why he is no longer on-air.
Gordon's disappearance has prompted an [link=http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/4119373.Mystery_over_radio_presenter_s_departure/]article[/link] in the Argus, which reveals he has left the station although the [i]exact details of his departure are unclear[/i].
The BBC told the paper "Gordon has been a great asset to BBC Southern Counties and we know some listeners will be sad to hear he will no longer be presenting the mid-morning show. We want to thank Gordon for all his work and we wish him well.”
