Sky News will provide their first bulletin for IRN customers at 2pm on March 3rd, and cut the existing three minute bulletin down to two minutes whilst axing the shorter 90 second on-the-hour round-up.
On-air, the intro will change to "From the Sky News Centre at (time)” and the outro will include the name of the newsreader: "That‘s the latest. I’m (newsreaders name check)".
The bulletins, as of 2pm on March 3rd, will never contain any newslink adverts and will always be two minutes in duration, except for major national situations.
Sky News won the IRN contract from ITN in October last year, having already worked with more than 80 clients in the industry.
