Fiona Phillips will be a guest presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live sitting in for Simon Mayo.
She can currently be heard presenting the Sunday afternoon show on Smooth Radio network.
The former GMTV host will take over at 5 Live for a week from the 30th March, just as her contract on Smooth ends. Phillips began her career in commercial radio, working for County Sound in Guildford, Peterborough's Hereward Radio and Mercury FM in west Sussex.
Phillips said: "BBC Radio 5 Live is always on in my house, I wake up with it and go to sleep with it, it's my favourite radio station.”
