A new internet radio station has launched promising Fresh Hits for the UK, and offers advertisers a Pay Per Listen rate card.
Oxygen Radio is hoping the future of radio is online rather than DAB, and is promoting itself as the country's new 'at work radio station'. It is aiming itself at the 20 – 35 year old listener playing chart artists such as Akon, Lily Allen, The Killers, Beyonce, Take That and The Saturdays.
Pay Per Listen will work similar to Google's Pay Per Click advertising solution, and will be offering presenter endorsements of products and services, that station said in a statement.
Presenters include Chris Murton, Matt Cadman and Gavin Harris.
