Talksport drives home new deal

talkSPORT is to work on a campaign with Bosch to help promote its network of independent Bosch Car Service garages, with the company sponsoring the station’s traffic and travel reports.

The campaign will begin in mid-April and run for six weeks and give Bosch credits around the 179 updates the station delivers every week.

Trade and Marketing Communications Manager for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, Susan Shrosbree said: “It was important for Bosch to be able to reach the right audience through our consumer campaign; therefore, we felt that talkSPORT was the right channel for us to raise awareness and build the profile of the Bosch Car Service network”.

talkSPORT Sponsorship Account Director, Laura Botton, added: “talkSPORT listeners spend almost double the amount of time in their cars than other national commercial radio station’s listeners, so Bosch’s sponsorship of the station’s traffic and travel bulletins is an ideal way for them to speak directly to motorists.”

Negotiated by Laura Botton at talkSPORT and James Erskine at Sound Creative, the campaign will begin in mid-April and run for six weeks.
