Nicola Thompson, Global Radio's marketing director is leaving the radio group later this month, with her replacement expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
Nicola leaves for personal reasons, as she moves to New York following her husband's move to set up a new division of the Omicom agency in America.
Global Radio [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.3878]promoted[/link] Nicola from director of marketing for Heart 106.2, LBC and Galaxy, and to group director of marketing across the entire Global group last October.
Richard Park said Nicola has been a "huge asset" to Global and although he is very sad to see her go, he wishes her "every success" in her new life in America.
Nicola was poached from Magic 105.4 two years ago where she held the position of marketing director.
