Heart's newest presenter and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is fronting Global Radio's latest marketing campaign.
In the first major marketing investment for the entire Heart network, Global will reveal a refreshed TV and cinema commercial featuring Emma Bunton.
The campaign will support the third and final phase of the Heart roll-out as nine new stations join the network on Monday 22nd June, Southern FM, Ocean FM, Invicta FM, Essex FM, 2CR, Marcher Sound, Coast 96.3, Buzz 97.1 and Champion 103.
These stations will join the other 21 other stations launched in the first two phases earlier this year, plus the three original Heart stations in London, West Midlands and East Midlands – making a total of 33 stations in the network.
The “Give it some Heart” TV and cinema ad has been designed to announce Heart in the regions not previously exposed to the brand and has also been refreshed with brand new scenes featuring Emma Bunton as part of a wider marketing campaign to promote the full network.
The TV commercial will run across ITV1, Channel 4, GMTV and multi-channel in every Heart region. In the Heart phase three regions such as Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset and Essex, the ad will also run in Odeon cinemas and will be supported by a heavy-weight outdoor campaign.
Global Radio’s outgoing Director of Marketing Nicola Thomson said: “We are delighted to unveil our first major marketing campaign for the Heart network which includes the third and final phase of the Heart roll-out.”
Emma Bunton presents her own Saturday afternoon show from 4pm on the Heart network and Friday drivetime from 4pm on London’s Heart 106.2.
