Regatta Radio, which covers the Henley Royal Regatta is now in its fourth year and on air until July 5 at 87.7FM as well as online.
The Regatta team, which includes contributions from Ben Jacobs (5 Live) and Michelle Livings (Sky 3), are hoping to provide live coverage of every race. The commentary teams are headed up by Dr Robert Treharne Jones who was a member of the BBC Boat Race commentary team.
Programme Controller George Thomas said: “This will be our 4th broadcast and the station keeps going from strength to strength. We’re planning even more live race commentary and have already spoken to some of the biggest names in UK Rowing.
“Henley is the world’s most prestigious Rowing Regatta and we’re looking forward to telling the story from the riverbank on 87.7 FM and to a global audience via our website”
