Global Radio is giving Gold a Refresh, with new programmes, jingles and the release of eight new Greatest Hits double CD albums.
The new station voice-overs Randall Lee Rose and Anna Butterfield will featuring alongside a new custom jingle package fromIQ Beats in Seattle. It features the station ID as "This is Gold", similar to the logo by sister network This is Heart. IQ Beats has also recently created a new package for Global Radio's 95.8 Capital FM.

The Breakfast Show with James Cannon & Erika North remains (complete with a new wake-up theme tune), whilst David Andrews takes over the afternoon show. Simon Bates will also host Sunday mornings from 8am till 12pm.
Global Radio’s Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: “We’ve injected a very large dose of adrenalin into the Gold network with an exciting new production package, a refocused and passionate presenter line-up and a playlist that quite simply rolls out The Greatest Hits of all Time – all celebrated by the release of our new Gold albums with HMV."
The new albums will only be available in HMV, thanks to a partnership with the chain.
