Coast hires Hampshire boss

The Coast has recruited Radio Hampshire's former station director, and has a new programme director.

Claire Hatherall was in charge at Radio Hampshire before it closed last month, and joins the Celador-owned station as Commercial Controller. Claire has previously held positions at London Creative, Capital Radio and as Sales Manager at Ocean FM.
She commented: “It is fantastic to join a radio station that is being run with such passion and belief in the brand and to work with a team that know how to invest properly in a station. There is a strong emotional investment throughout the company and a dedication to the highest quality across the business.
And moving up from his deputy position to Programme Director, John Clayton takes on responsibility for all output, sound, imaging and the production team. He comments: “We have recently invested in processing equipment and more investment is planned to bring our studios to the highest standard possible. Our listeners know what they want and we have to deliver it consistently.”
The Coast 106 broadcasts across the South coast incorporating Winchester, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Poole, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton, the Isle of Wight and all surrounding areas.
