Horrid Henry joins Fun Kids

The fictional character Horrid Henry is joining national DAB radio station Fun Kids for the summer.

Horrid Henry will present a weekly radio show every Sunday during August, produced in association with Novel Entertainment. It will feature a mixture of jokes, mischief and general grossness, alongside tracks from Henry’s own album, Horrid Henry’s Most Horrid Album.
Lucinda Whiteley, Creative Director of Novel Entertainment, says: “We are excited to be extending the Horrid Henry brand onto radio with a channel dedicated to kids and their families. Henry is fun and irreverent and kids will love listening to his weekly mix of music and entertainment.”
Gregory Watson, Managing Director of Fun Kids, says "We are very excited to have Henry as a guest presenter this summer. Fun Kids is entertaining children (and mums and dads) across the country this summer, broadcasting on national DAB. Henry will bring his own unique brand of horridness, and has required us to put in additional soundproofing for the very loud music he’s planning to play".
Fun Kids is currently broadcasting on the Digital One national multiplex in a temporary agreement with Arqiva.
