Wave jocks ride for charity
Wave 105 presenters, Steve Power and Simon Clarke ‘Rode the Wave’ in aid of the Wave 105 Cash for Kids Jenna’s Dream campaign.
The duo cycled the length of Wave 105’s listener area, from Worthing to Weymouth each riding 50 miles and met in the middle at the Platform at Tavern pub in Southampton.
Jenna Hill was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15 and after a brief period of remission, her spinal cancer returned. Wave 105’s Cash for Kids, is now looking to raise £50,000 to support the campaign and to build a music room in the unit which will provide a space for teenagers across the region where they can relax, chill out and spend time with their peers.
Steve Power departed from Littlehampton at 9.15am and arrived in Southampton at 4.15pm. Simon Clarke departed from Lulworth at 8.00am and arrived in Southampton at 3.15pm.
