Jazz FM makes it to number 1

Digital broadcaster Jazz FM has made it to the number one spot in the iTunes App Store, in the Free Music Apps category.

The app, which was launched just one week ago, has been downloaded by 12,540 people so far (as of Thursday evening).
As a result of the response, Jazz FM's Chairman Richard Wheatly told RadioToday.co.uk he decided to put the station on all four mobile phone platforms as soon as possible, with the Google Android App now available. Blackberry and Nokia apps will follow shortly.
Jazz FM can be heard nationally on Sky Digital and Freesat, on DAB Digital Radio in London, the North West, the West Midlands, Glasgow, the Severn Estuary and South Wales, and online.
