Global Radio's Classic FM has launched a new box set of CDs and is hoping they will be played in doctors' practices across the UK.
Named "Relaxation", the 3CD box set will be available on sale from today featuring over 36 tracks, each selected with tranquillity and stress-relief in mind.
In an attempt to relax patients, Classic FM has supplied the box set to one hundred doctors’ practices across the UK, and will be promoting the collection through a television commercial in surgery waiting rooms.
Darren Henley, Managing Director of Classic FM said: “Research proves how important it is to our health to take time out for ourselves, and we hope that the public will be reminded of the relaxing benefits of classical music through our campaign in doctors’ practices. Our listeners at Classic FM frequently request relaxing music, citing piano music as the most relaxing, so we chose every track for the box set with this in mind.”
