Absolute compares competitors

The team at Absolute Radio's One Golden Square labs have created a website to let anyone compare radio stations.
CompareMyRadio.com tracks UK radio stations'"now playing" information and displays it all online, making it even easier for Ofcom to work out who is and isn't sticking to their Format.

It was built to help radio listeners work out which station is best suited to their musical tastes. But it doesn't only promote Absolute Radio's stable of stations, it includes BBC and Independent stations too.
Rock Radio, Kiss, Xfm, BRMB and Heart are amoungst the first featured stations, with more to follow as the site develops.
It counts how many songs have been played, how many times a track has aired, and the top 40 most played tracks on each station over the past 30 days.
This kind of information has never been so easily available free of charge before, but does prove that Heart loves Daniel Merriweather and Michael Buble, Capital FM and Galaxy loves Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas, and Xfm plays a lot of Snow Patrol.
