Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball has sold out its 2nd night within an hour of tickets going on sale Monday morning after five major artists were announced.
Is it due to the station regaining popularity in London, or the fact that Janet Jackson is the headline act?
Janet joins the line-up along with Ne-Yo, Shakira, Dizzee Rascal and JLS, all set to perform at the O2 Arena on Sunday 6th December.
Update: Alexandra Burke, Flo Rida and Esmée Denters were announced on Tuesday's breakfast show as extra acts at the Windows 7 sponsored event.
Owners Global Radio tell us Capital staged the second night of the Jingle Bell Ball after being deluged with requests last week when they announced the show’s first night on Saturday 5th December, because thousands of fans were left disappointed as the show became a sell-out in under an hour.
Johnny Vaughan said; ‘'The artists just keep on coming…it's going to be one hell of a ball!"
The Ball is supporting Capital’s flagship charity, Help A London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.
