Gunn gets fired back to Alpha

North East presenter Les Gunn is back in the region as a key part of the soon to be launched Star Radio.
Star will take-over from Alpha, Durham and Minster Northallerton in the next few months after being bought by UKRD.

Gunny previously worked for stations across the North East and North Yorkshire, including TFM, Stray FM, Sun FM, BBC Tees, BBC Radio York and Fresh Radio, as well as Durham FM and Alpha Radio when he presented the Sunday Night Phone In during 2007.
Gunn says: "The radio market is so incredibly diverse now compared to even ten years ago, but the one thing that people love in the North East is great personalities and songs that make them smile and feel good. I’ll be bringing all that and more to Alpha Radio, with a little bit of cheek thrown in too!"
Rafe Parker, Programme Controller for Alpha Radio: "We’re thrilled that Les has decided to join us. His style and personality is just what our future plans for the radio station are all about and coupled with the great team we have already, I’m sure he’ll be a success with our audience and clients alike."
Les can be heard on Alpha Radio on Weekdays between 10am and 2pm.
