Bauer Media has appointed Ric Blaxill as Head of Music for the Big City Network under the auspices of Bauer Media. In his newly created role, Blaxill will work alongside the network’s regional MDs in an effort to help, among other things, fine tune their programming.
Secondly, Blaxill, who left his last major role at BBC 6 Music under something of a cloud, will assume the role of developing strategic creative partnerships with record labels and promoters.
