To mark the launch of its Christmas toy appeal, Wave 105’s Cash for Kids encouraged supporters to join its ‘Motorcycle Santas ride the Wave’ event.
Over 200 Wave 105 listeners and Cash for Kids supporters rode their motorcycles to donate toys.
The South Coast regional station's Charity Manager, Connie Carroll, said: “We were overwhelmed by the support shown at our motorcycle Santas event and now have £2,000 worth of toys!
"We hope the generosity doesn’t end there as we are still looking for people to donate new toys for our appeal for those children who wouldn’t normally receive a gift at Christmas. We owe thanks to our sponsors, Sunnyfields, S.C.R.A.T.C.H and Dearden Motorcycles for their support with this initiative.”
