Glasgow radio presenter dies

A radio presenter on one of Glasgow's community radio stations has been found dead in her home.
Police say Nasim Jamil, an agony aunt for Awaz FM, was murdered after suffering horrific injuries in a violent attack.

Station director Javaid Ullah [link=http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/145652/Radio-agony-aunt-died-a-brutal-death-?]told[/link] the local newspaper: “It’s a massive shock to everyone. Her daughter also presents at the station and is in a state of shock.”
In her profile on the Awaz FM website, Nasim wrote: "I am an emotional person and always love helping people. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the listeners of Awaz FM for their support and encouragement and would ask them all to keep supporting Awaz FM and remember me in your prayers just like I remember all of you in my prayers."
Her murder on Wednesday night last week was the second time a presenter from Awaz FM has been brutally slain in less than a year, the newspaper reports: "Former station volunteer Sehrish Waqar Sheikh, 23, was stabbed 65 times by a jilted ex wearing a Phantom of the Opera mask."
Awaz FM was one of three community radio stations to win a licence in Glasgow in June 2005.
