BBC Radio 2 breakfast presenter Sir Terry Wogan has been given a lifetime achievement award for radio broadcasting.
Terry, who was introduced to the Radio Academy's Hall of Fame earlier in the week, was presented with the award during the live British Comedy Awards on ITV1.
He was given a standing ovation at the end of the programme, and in his acceptance speech, joked: "In our business, if you can stay upright and reasonably sober, they'll give you something in the end."
Sir Terrry is starting his final week of hosting the Radio 2 breakfast show on Monday morning, with Friday 18th December being his very last show after almost 30 years in the prime time spot.
