Radio Festival introduces Fair

The 2010 Radio Festival in Salford Quays will introduce a new exhibition area for radio companies to demonstration their latest products and services.

The Radio Fair, no doubt brought about due to the cancellation of SBES, will take place on October 18th and 19th.

It will be hosted in the Digital World Centre, just next to the Lowry Theatre, where most of the Festival will take place.

The Radio Academy: "Companies wishing to engage with the radio industry will want to be there to meet and discuss ideas with 500 or more executives, producers, engineers and presenters from across all sectors of the UK industry. The BBC, the main commercial groups, community stations and student radio will all be there, so this is the only place for professional audio products and services to be seen by the people in a position to buy them."

At least one of the major Festival sessions will be held inside the Radio Fair to encourage visitors, and a seminar area is also available.
