Yorkshire Radio and Minster FM have agreed to renew their broadcasting partnership to bring Leeds United commentary to FM in Yorkshire for new season.
Full match coverage on Yorkshire Radio – which is only available on DAB, Sky and the internet – will continue to be broadcast via Minster’s 104.7 FM frequency in Yorkshire as part of the deal.
Programmes run between 2pm and 6pm on Saturdays; and between 7pm and 10.30pm for midweek fixtures. Programmes include build up and reaction to the games, exclusive interviews with Simon Grayson and his team and a phone-in with Leeds legend Eddie Gray after every match.
Yorkshire Radio station director Ben Fry said: "We are delighted to renew our relationship with Minster FM and continue to bring fans the best possible coverage of what should be another exciting season for Leeds United.
“This deal also gives listeners the chance to experience Yorkshire Radio and find out more about our comprehensive sports coverage including full match commentary on 40 Super League games and being official media partner of Yorkshire County Cricket Club”
David Green, Programme Controller at Minster FM, said: "Our listeners enjoyed following the club’s promotion winning season and we as a station are delighted to be part of Leeds United’s climb back up the leagues.”
