Quidem stations get an App

It seems an app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is the must-have fashion item for radio stations in 2010.

And joining the party is Quidem's Touch FM brand along with Rugby FM, signing up for G Media's latest version of their iPhone app.

Touch and Rugby join other G Media clients including JACK fm, 3FM and The Coast.

Quidem’s Ben Day said “This is the next step forward in our online strategy. It’s important that our apps are valuable to our listeners – and we’ve worked with G Media to make sure that useful local information is at hand. We know our listeners will love the experience of accessing our content on a new platform.”

G Media’s Co-founder and Director of Operations Gav Richards said “We’re thrilled to have Quidem on board for app version 2.0. We created a website for them with a wealth of essential local content, so it only seemed right to offer as much of it as possible in their new iPhone application. Stations really can’t afford not to get on board with this rapidly growing listening platform.”

G Media will be exhibiting at the Radio Fair in October, with a demo of the applications and the content management system.
