UK-based Jazz FM gone straight to the top of the US iPad radio charts in the same week that it launched its service on the new Apple platform.
The station, which is broadcast online and on DAB in the UK, is also number one in the British version of the chart.
Richard Wheatly, Chief Exec, Jazz FM says; 'We have already built a sizeable wordwide audience on all the four major mobile platforms, Android, Nokia, Blackberry as well as the our most popular platform, the iPhone. We were astounded when the news came in today that we had soared to the number one spot in the US and UK on the iPad platform.
"I think it proves unequivocally that we are building a significant worldwide following for Jazz FM, driven by these new digital platforms".
