The cow moo challenge!

Station sound producers are challenging each other with the best use of a cow moo in creative work.

It’s open to any station sound producer from the BBC, commercial, community or student radio and it’s absolutely free to enter – with a joint of beef up for grabs as the prize!

The challenge is inspired by Global Radio’s James Beckingham who deployed a cow moo in a piece of imaging on digital station FunKids, the Sony and Arqiva award-winning producer Joe Thomas did the same at Oxfordshire’s 106 JACKfm. Then Roy Martin of Manchester’s 106.1 Rock Radio also joined the herd.

The radio production podcast Earshot Creative Review is now offering the prize of a joint of beef for the best use of a cow moo in a radio promo, trailer, ident or sweeper.

Anybody wishing to enter can hear further details in the Earshot Creative Review podcast at http://earshotcreative.com. For further information contact Steve Martin on 07973 730000.
