BBC 6 Music is set to hand over the station to the listeners across the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The digital station will give them a chance to become DJ and choose the playlist by visiting a special page on the 6 Music website.
Listeners can also join the online conversation between now and the DIY Weekend on the official 6 Music Facebook page and via Twitter, using the hash tag #6musicDIY, to talk to fellow listeners and the producers of each show and explain why they've chosen the tracks that they've put forward.
6 Music's DIY Weekend starts on Thursday 26 August and ends with a 12-hour Takeover on Bank Holiday Monday 30 August, starting with Shaun Keaveny's Breakfast Show at 7am and running right through the day until 7pm.
