Another rock legend is joining digital station Planet Rock to host a weekly show.
Joey Tempest, lead singer with Swedish group Europe – famous for The Final Countdown – joins the likes of Alice Cooper, Rick Wakeman and Joe Elliott who already present on the station.
Joey will be on Sunday nights 6-7pm, starting next month on 7 November 2010.
He said: "Rock music has been a major part of my life, whether I am recording, touring or just listening to it. This time I’m heading into a different kind of studio and get to play the music that I love and that has influenced me over the years."
Joey Tempest and Europe made their name with the epic 'The Final Countdown' in 1986 and have now sold over 20 million albums worldwide. The band are starting a new UK tour next February.
