Russell Brand is joining talkSPORT host a regular Saturday night radio show.
The 20-part programme will be produced by Universal Music UK, where his former Radio 2 boss Lesley Douglas is director of programming and business development.
One of his first guests on the show will be Jonathan Ross, with whom he appeared at the Hackney Empire in east London with last night for a promotional chat about Booky Wook 2 – the follow-up to Russell's first book.
The pair joked about "Sachsgate" and once again apologised for the event which "nearly destroyed the earth," Russell said. They both said their antics were "not deliberately malicious but deliberately stupid."
This is not Russell's first talkSPORT radio show since the incident. He also joined up with Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher in [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.4449]March 2009[/link] for a one-off.
