Macclesfield's Silk FM has a new station vehicle for doing outside broadcasts – a branded milk float!
As part of a deal with their breakfast show sponsor, the float is out and about every morning, with a live show from it every other week.
The milk float's dual-branded to promote both the station and breakfast sponsors Milk and More. On alternate Fridays, Silk Breakfast with Andy Bailey comes live from the float at key locations around the patch.
Andy told RadioToday.co.uk: "The synergy between a Breakfast Show and a milk float is just brilliant. Like all the best ideas, it's simple. The milk float is turning heads around the area and helping get the Silk 106.9 brand out."
