
Global Radio and Orion Media have picked up awards at the London International Awards which celebrate ideas across the creative industries.
Orion took a Silver, while Global bagged two Bronze awards at the ceremony in the capital last night.
Orion's Beacon Radio got their prize in the 'Conceived and Produced by Station' category, for a commercial named [link=http://www.liaentries.com/winners/?id_medium=7&id_category=0&view=details&range=w&page=13&keyword=&medium=&category=&award=&country=&title_brand=&credits=&company_name=&city=&proceed_simple_search=false&proceed_advanced_search=false]Girl[/link], created for the Shropshire Fire Service.
Global's Bronze awards were in the Media Promotion category for an ad for The Sunday Times ([link=http://www.liaentries.com/winners/?id_medium=7&id_category=0&view=details&range=w&page=23&keyword=&medium=&category=&award=&country=&title_brand=&credits=&company_name=&city=&proceed_simple_search=false&proceed_advanced_search=false]For All You Are[/link]) and one for Trade Point called [link=http://www.liaentries.com/winners/?id_medium=7&id_category=0&view=details&range=w&page=27&keyword=&medium=&category=&award=&country=&title_brand=&credits=&company_name=&city=&proceed_simple_search=false&proceed_advanced_search=false]Ladder On Top[/link] in the Music Adaptation category.
The two Bronzes and a Silver were the only awards for UK stations and companies in the radio categories at the LIA this year.
