Christmas Glee at Glide

Oxford station Glide FM flipped back to nothing-but-Glee this morning to play non-stop Christmas songs from the TV show's soundtrack.

Earlier this year, as part of the publicity around the rebrand from Oxford's FM 107.9, the station [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.6194]went several days[/link] as 'Glee FM' in homage to the American musical phenomenon.

This morning, Glide listeners woke up to a new station, 'All Christmas Glee', playing non-stop songs from the show's new Christmas album.

Station Manager Ian Walker told RadioToday.co.uk: "At Glide we pride ourselves on really emotive music – you’ll feel every song. Everybody loves Christmas songs and the fact that 2010’s biggest phenomenon Glee has decided to join the festive fun too gave us the perfect opportunity to kick off our Christmas celebrations in the most memorable way!"
