Absolute Radio's breakfast presenter Christian O'Connell is back on 5 Live in the new year, covering for an ill Danny Baker on Saturday mornings.
OC previously deputised for Richard Bacon earlier this year as well as presenting a regular show, the Christian O'Connell Solution, in 2009.
The new Christian O'Connell Show, each Saturday from 9 till 11am, will start on Saturday 15 January, with Lenny Henry as a guest. The show will run until the end of May 2011.
Talking of his new role, Christian said: "Danny is the very best of the best and is handling his treatment with the humour and gusto you'd expect. Whilst he's getting better it's a privilege and honour to look after the shop until the great one's return. Expect great guests and banter."
