Andy Preece, the current Financial Controller at UKRD, has been promoted to the post of Finance Director.
He'll start his new position from February 1st 2011 when the present FD Roger Humm reduces his involvement in the company.
Confirming the new appointment, Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers, also thanked Roger Humm for his contribution to the successful growth strategy of the group over the last three years and confirmed that he would still be providing some services to the company going forward on a consultancy basis. “We all wish Roger well in the future and we are pleased we will still be utilising some of his services for the foreseeable future,” he said.
Welcoming Andy Preece as a member of the Senior Executive team, William said: “Andy has done a great job in his present role and makes a really strong contribution to the financial operation of the company as well as the cultural and values driven environment we operate within,” said Rogers. “We are all tremendously pleased that Andy is taking on this role and we’ll be working with him closely to move things forward.”
Andy Preece confirmed that he was looking forward to the challenges ahead. “This is a great place to work and I have really enjoyed my time as Financial Controller,” he said. “Now I have the opportunity to take on this new role, I am determined to play my part in making UKRD an even stronger and more successful company than it is at present.”
