Former Real Radio Scotland breakfast producer Barrie Hodge, who left the station after getting naked behind Ed Miliband at the request of presenter Robin Galloway, is joining BRMB as breakfast producer.
He'll start his new role in the new year.
"I'm absolutely delighted to be joining one of the biggest and best known radio stations in the uk. Foxy and Giuliano are a fantastic team and I'm honoured that I'm now part of that. I hope I can help grow the show and return the station to it's rightful place at number one," Barrie told RadioToday.co.uk
Barrie and presenter Robin hit the newspaper headlines last month after a prank took place in a production studio at Real Radio which involved filming Barrie stripping whilst Ed Miliband was being interviewed. Station bosses didn't see the funny side and decided to replace them both.
Meanwhile, Robin Galloway, who hosted the breakfast show in Scotland for 10 years, was recently heard covering at Bauer's Key 103 in Manchester. Rumours suggest he's being lined up for a networked mid-morning show across Bauer's Scottish Big City stations, including Clyde 1 and Forth 1.
