The team at Planet Rock are celebrating their biggest ever audience this quarter, with 827,000 people now listening.
The digital station is up 18.4 per cent on this time last year, taking it to the number one commercial digital-only radio station in the UK.
Also on digital, BBC 6 Music has kept over a million listeners entertained, albeit with a slight drop from last quarter but still a massive increase on its audience this time last year.
Radio 7 posted a reach of 941,000 listeners – from 931,000 last year and 1.05m last quarter.The BBC Asian Network’s weekly reach is 477,000 – up from 360,000 last year and 462,000 last quarter.
Jazz FM has remained static with just under half a million listeners, whilst on Digital One, Absolute 80s is up from 564,000 to 665,000 listeners.
Smooth Radio, now also on Digital One, remains the same with just over three million listeners, including its six FM regions.
