Totally 90s show to launch

Radio programme syndication company Blue Revolution has announced it's to start a new 2-hour weekly show featuring music from the 1990s.

Totally 90s with Gary King is being billed as the 'ideal companion' to its sister show Totally 80s.

Blue Revolution says it is offering affiliate stations the opportunity to celebrate the music, the movies and the memories from two very diverse decades each weekend.

Show host Gary King told RadioToday.co.uk: "Now is very much the time for Totally 90s as we love again Britpop, Boybands, Girl Power and Grunge and despite Nostradamus, global warming and Y2K… it wasn’t the end of the world!"

Nick Pitts, Blue Revolution’s Content Director added: "This timely expansion of the ‘Totally’ brand allows stations to create 4-hour block of content-rich output each weekend. Alternatively stations can have Gary as part of their weekend team by airing one of the strands each day. So not only is it even more high quality content, but flexible too!"

And Blue Revolution CEO Paul Hollins says: "The launch of Totally 90s underlines Blue Revolution’s commitment to producing world-class programming. Our network of affiliate stations offer their listeners the very best content each weekend and we’re proud to help them do it."

Totally 90s With Gary King will start in April.
