Absolute scores go on Android

Absolute Radio’s Rock N Roll Football Live Scores smart phone app, which gives real-time access to match coverage, is going live on the Android platform.

It’s already been available for iOS devices and provides dynamic official data for all Premier League matches as well as a stream of Absolute Radio Extra’s commentaries.

This is Absolute Radio’s seventh application launched into Google’s Android market place. Meanwhile, Absolute says it recorded its highest ever figures for mobile listening in November 2010, with 353,000 hours of audio streamed to handsets. The group says that’s up more than 300 percent over a year and means 4 percent of the Absolute networks’ streamed hours are now on mobile devices.

The station has also made various Android and iPhone apps for specific football clubs, launching with Arsenal and Liverpool.
