Robin goes on run from Clyde

Clyde 1 drivetime presenter Robin Galloway is heading out and about every morning this week as part of the station’s Live on Location promotion.

He'll become the 'Runaway Robin' with listeners trying to track him down in the patch through a series of clues.

The station's breakfast show with George and Suzie is being done on location all week, with shows coming from Glasgow’s main railway station as well as a local hotel foyer.

Prizes for tracking down Robin include train tickets from Glasgow to London and an overnight stay in the UK capital.

Robin said: "Runaway Robin is going to be a whole lot of fun – not just for me, but for all our Clyde 1 listeners! Whilst our No1 Breakfast show is being broadcast live from Central Station and the Grand Central Hotel, I’ll be busy speeding my way to an undisclosed railway station in the west of Scotland – in disguise."

Tracey McNellan, Station Director at Clyde 1 and Clyde 2 added: "Live on Location is all about bringing top notch entertainment to our audiences to say a big thank you for helping us to retain our position as the number one radio station for Glasgow and the west. Without a hint of a doubt, Robin is the most suitable person for this job."
