96.2 The Revolution in Oldham is the latest station to add showbiz legend Donny Osmond to its schedule.
The UK version of Donny's syndicated American radio show already airs on Celador's Breeze stations in the south, but will be broadcast in the North West with The Rev from next weekend.
Station owner Steve Penk told us the Donny show will bring a whole new feel to Saturdays. "Donny is one of the all-time great all-rounders and when he decided to move into radio I wanted my station to be the first to carry the show," said Steve. "The music will be fantastic and Donny’s style is a perfect fit for the station."
Recent social media research apparently showed Donny to have a huge fanbase in North West England. "The Facebook generation has spoken and the data clearly shows the people of the North West are the most passionate about Donny and his amazing forty-plus year career," adds Steve.
The show starts on The Revolution next Saturday (16 April) 10am-1pm.
