Eagle swoops around patch for tour

Guildford station 96.4 Eagle Radio is going on the road to broadcast live all day every day from various towns within its TSA for the next fortnight.

The UKRD station’s ‘Love Tour’ kicked off this morning in Woking with a Great Balloon Race in aid of charity.

As part of the outside broadcast the Eagle Radio Trust will be presenting individual grants to a chosen charity each day. Youngsters from a different school in each town will also get the chance to meet the presenters each day.

Eagle Radio’s Programme Director and Breakfast Presenter, Peter Gordon told RadioToday.co.uk: “Our tour is unique locally and is about reminding people and businesses in our area that we really do mean what we say – we love Surrey and Hampshire. So much so, we make sure we come to them to say hello!”

Today the team are in Woking, then it’s on to Camberley, Haslemere, Farnborough and Cranleigh this week. At the weekend they’re in Farnham and Fleet, then next week the tour takes in Bordon, Godalming, Aldershot and Alton before finishing in Guildford on Friday 1 July.
