Real Radio Scotland charter plane to Spain

Real Radio Scotland are planning to take 200 of the country’s football fans to Spain for a Euro 2012 qualifier.

The station’s working with The Scottish Sun to launch the Tartan Airforce which will fly out to Alicante later this year.

Fans will soak up the atmosphere ahead of Scotland’s last Euro 2012 qualifying match with Spain, which takes place on 11 October and they’ll be joined on the trip by breakfast duo Ewen and Cat as well as the Real Football Phone-In team headed by Scottish football legends Alan Rough and Derek Johnstone. The station will broadcast live from Benidorm before and after the game. We’re told the newly-crowned Miss Scotland, Jennifer Reoch, will join listeners on the flight too.

Real Radio Scotland Managing Director Gavin Bruce told RadioToday.co.uk: “As ever, the rollercoaster ride following the Scotland football team continues. This time it really could be ‘Benidorm or Bust!’ Whatever happens Real Radio and The Scottish Sun will be right behind the national team.”
