The Hits to host future pop music events

Bauer Media’s digital station The Hits is to show its support for new music with a series of special events across the country aimed at pop lovers.

The first “Future Hits Live” will take place in Leamington Spa on Friday 15th July.

The event will showcase Wretch 32, Her Majesty & The Wolves , Soundgirl, Talay Riley, Six D and Oh My!

Ric Blaxill, Music and Content Director from Bauer says: “The Hits Radio is all about exciting, new pop music and Future Hits Live will give our listeners the chance to see those new acts we believe will hit the big time before anyone else! Plus we’ll be embracing our ever-expanding listeners’ love of social networking with Future Hits Live being the first Bauer event to sell tickets directly through Facebook to our 85,000 Facebook fans. ”

The Leamington Spa event will be the first in a number of intimate gigs showcasing new pop acts at different venues across the country.

The station is selling tickets for the events at £12 per person.
