BBC WM Editor Keith Beech to leave

Keith Beech, Managing Editor of BBC WM has announced he’s to leave after 22 years with the corporation.

The 46-year old is joining a PR firm in London when he departs his post at the end of September.

Keith, from Wolverhampton, told the Birmingham Post: “I am really proud to have worked for the BBC for the past two decades. I couldn’t have asked for more than the opportunity to run the radio station that broadcasts to the area that I call home.

He added: “It’s been a terrific challenge and I’m hugely proud to have worked with talented people who share my passion for the West Midlands.”
